Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We ship most all orders via Fedex Ground or USPS Priority mail and charge a flat rate of $ 7.99 to the lower 48 United States. You will always have other shipping options and we will only charge the actual shipping amount.

If you plan to pickup from us locally or if you are a part of our premier shippers club, please select "Local pickup only, or premier shippers club--Free" option. Please note if you select this option, and you want your order shipped, we will send you an email with a link to pay the $7.99 flat rate shipping BEFORE we will ship your order. No exceptions.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada and International destinations will not qualify for Flat Rate shipping but will be charged the actaul shipping amount either via UPS or USPS. If you are ordering from these areas we will contact you and give you the actual shipping quote to your door and charge you for shipping at that time.

We will happily ship to APO/FPO boxes for troops stationed overseas. However, the items must be able to be shipped in a USPS flat rate box. Because we are limited to shipping in Flat Rate USPS boxes, we will have to collect $7.99 in shipping for every box we ship. We will contact you via email after  we pack the order and advise you if we need to collect additional shipping charges. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule. 

Shipping Glass Goods

Due to the high volume of breakage while shipping glass goods, we have a special glass breakage policy. If you recive an order that has been damaged by the carrier, please contact us immediately. We will ask you to email us pictures of the damaged glass, and we will then file a claim with the carrier. Upon sucessful settlement of the claim, we will at that point, refund your money or ship you replacements. Claims can take 30 days or more to settle, although most are settled in 2 weeks or less. We do our best to package glass in a way that prevents breakage, however, some breakage is simply unavoidable. Thank you for your understanding. 

Handling

We do our absolute best to have orders shipped within 2 business days of receipt. At times of increased order volume and at other necessary times that time may increase slightly. We guarantee we will always get your order out the door as quickly, and as accurately as we can.

 

 Return and Exchange Policy


All perishable and/or consumable items including grains, hops, malt extract, and yeast are not returnable. Defective equipment and/or materials can be returned within 30 days of purchase. All returns are handled on a case by case basis. To return an item please call 1-816-313-5039 or email at jeremy@apexbrewwares.com to start the return process. If emailing, please include your name and order number along with a description of the problem. 

 

Grills and Smokers

Once a grill or smoker has been used, it cannot be returned for any reason. This includes the initial burn in on units that you request us to do before purchasing. We simply cannot sell used grills and we cannot get credit back from the manufactures on used grills. Thank you for understanding!
